Web Browsers
This website is optimized for Firefox 3.6, but it should display (with varying degrees of success) in other browsers. IE is particularly notorious for being problematic, but below are the links for installing the latest versions of several different web browsers from several different companies. Obviously, if you’re going to choose a "default browser" we’d recommend Mozilla Firefox. The iPhone people seem to be partial to Safari, and the Android folks seem to like Google Chrome. The only people I know of who use Microsoft’s Internet Explorer are folks who only have one browser and they only use it because they aren’t comfortable availing themselves of options. So I won’t "rate" browsers, chances are you understand how I feel about them.

Some of the videos, images, sounds, and so forth that we routinely use to enhance the writing in posts are presented in Windows Media, QuickTime, or Flash formats… we’ve included the links below to install these tools if necessary.
