This blog is all about political hypocrisy, so what better day than Easter to talk trash about the Catholic Church? Wonder if that’s sacrilegious, or if what’s actually sacrilegious is the mean-spirited hypocritical behavior of “Christians” in the name of God? Priests do not molest children because they’re gay, Phil Donahue. There’s absolutely no [...] [...] Most scholars agree on nine discrete reading comprehension skills that children must master. How we should teach them, whether we should assess them with standardized tests or depend on reading teachers’ portfolios (or something else) for assessing them– those are certainly matters of opinion about which thoughtful, educated people can (and often do!) disagree.
