So yesterday, President Obama and President Dmitry Medvedev signed NewSTART, a much-delayed Arms Reduction treaty that would shrink the Cold War Superpowers’ nuclear arsenals by about a third over seven years, from 2200 each to 1550, the lowest point since the scary arms race in the 1960s. This is good? Or bad? [...] I see that the anti-government, anti-Obama folks have been at it again. This time, they’ve attempted to somehow demonize the President for the longstanding behaviors of the US Census Bureau, as if that agency’s actions are new and just recently instituted by an administration that is “destroying America.” Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann, and [...] [...] The Wall Street Journal and NBC jointly conducted, as they do periodically, a survey recently, which was touted by some “conservatives” as a “clear indication” that the country rejects the POTUS and overwhelmingly believes that health care reform is a bad idea.
