Another example of gross misrepresentation and distortion A huge banner headline on this morning’s Drudge Report screams “Obama says: ‘It’s Like 9/11′” and links to an article in The Daily Mail which quotes the President as saying that while it was “cruel” to compare the BP disaster with Hurricane Katrina, it did indeed have echoes [...] [...] I guess it’s not new to think that the food manufacturers are trying to kill us. Not just Hardees, with their lard-laden “monster thickburger,” which will pretty obviously kill a person, but brands like “Healthy Choice” which just isn’t. Not only are they trying to kill us, I think, but they’re actually deliberately [...] [...] I love motorcycles. A lot. I also love leather, as do many riders. So one such rider with whom I am acquainted was rather confused when I mentioned that I was actively trying to eliminate leather from my wardrobe and riding gear. Tall order, I know, but they do make synthetic protective gear for riders, [...] [...] |
